6.5″ Day of the Dead El Catrin

mexican table decor

Hand Made from paper mache and painted by hand. The Catrin, an upperclass gentleman of the turn-of-the-century usually depicted in his tuxedo and top- hat, has become a classic in Mexican folk art. The images of the skeletons can be found in everything from fine ceramic and artistic paper mache figures, to inexpensive papel picados, paintings and plaster miniatures. A very colorful way to celebrate Dia de los Muertos! Colors and height may vary from figure to figure.
