Talavera: Pottery pieces such as Talavera are earthenware which comes from the city of Puebla in Mexico. All pieces are hand-thrown on the potter’s wheel and the glazes contain lead and tin. There are only six colors allowed, including yellow, orange, black, blue, green and mauve. The colors should be made from natural pigments.
